Jude is getting so big

Jude is getting so big now!!! He is 12 lbs 8 oz, and just shy of 24 inches. He is trying to laugh, is cooing lots and he smiles just as much as me!!! Yesterday, just after I finished feeding him his bottle, he was sligthly reclined in my arms and tried 3 times to sit up and the third time he did it!!! He sat himself up!! I was so shocked...thinking he is way to young to be doing that, but he did it again right after the first time....also he did it this morning after I feed him. He is one strong little boy that is for sure. He is a real joy to have and he is doing so well. He is sleeping thru the nite and staying awake more thru the day.
Dale is heading to BC for the weekend to give his friend a hand with the driving and to get some stuff. My wonderful friends the St.Pierre's are letting me stay with them for the weekend!!! That is so awesome...was not expecting the invitation at all. Now I won't have to be lonely all weekend wishing Dale was with me. Don't get me wrong, it's fine he is going, we talked about it, but I haven't been away from Dale for a while and I miss him when he is gone...and now with Jude...sometimes even mom's need a break.
So I am heading to Calgary later today when Charles comes out to get me...Thank God for such good friends.
Well I shall be heading out I have to get some things done before I go...like clean the house and get our bags packed and let Jude have a nap....
