I know it was going to happen, but didn't think it was going to occur so soon. I knew it was coming, he has been showing the signs since he was 8 wks old. Thought I had more time. But growth doesn't wait for Mom's to be ready for the next milestone. They come ready or not. And I was not ready.....I'm excited, but not ready. My little boy is growing so fast. I am loving the fact he is growing....but at times I wish he would slow down.

I guess you are wondering what has happend. But today when I went to rub his gums for him, because he has been teething for a while, I was not expecting anything when I put my finger in, and lo and behold, there was two tiny teeth come thru. Yup, 2 at 1 time. Oh my. This now explains why he has been fussier and clinger in the last 48 hours. And his upset belly. I didn't know that was what was going on. Just thought he was being fussy or picked a bit of a bug. But nope...it was his teeth coming in. Guess that means he will be getting the rest of them early too. Will I was thinking on the right wavelength on Wednesday when I picked up baby toothpaste and gum massager. Looks like I will be needing it lots !!
