My Mom and Dad were just here this past weekend. They got here Thursday evening. They left again Monday morning. While they were here, we went to Graham's Auction. It was Jude's first auction - outside of my belly!!! He did really good too. The first few minutes he cried, because one of the auction guys was really loud, but once I took him out of his stroller, he was fine. His head turned this way and that so much I thought he would of had whiplash!!! Also while Mom and Dad were here we went to church, then after church we went to Amy and Charles' for dinner. We had a good visit. And of course, Charles knowing my Dad is good with fixing cars...for the most part (after asking Dale to help, and Dale offering Dad's services) Dad ended up spending the rest of the day fixing the van. The waterpump was gone. Oh my. Got pics of that. The 2 stooges trying to help my Dad. Besides that there is not much else new.
I had another Mom moment last nite. Jude was fussing in the nite and I went to check on him (thinking he was hungry, but he wasn't), and lo and behold, he has his soother in his hand. How he found it in the nite, in the dark, while he was sleeping, I have no idea. But when I checked on him, he was holding his soother in his hand, moving and waving it around. And IN HIS SLEEP, he was getting upset because he could not get it in his mouth. Once I gave it to him, he went right back to sleep. It was so cute to see. Yup, a total Mom moment.
Well, Dale and I's 7th anniversary is coming up early next week. And this coming Saturday, we are going to dinner and a play to celebrate!!! I'm looking forward to that. I haven't been to a play before. But I am in a quandry...I have no idea what restaurant we should go too... We usually go to a fine dining restaurant. We need some ideas on where to go? It has to be a nicer place and kind of central. Any one got any ideas???? Please help!!!
