It's been a while since I have been here for an update. Things have been busy here for the last week. My Mom FINALLY made it down not last saturday, but the saturday before that. On Sunday, Dale, Jude and Mom and I went to my cousin Corey's and his wife Shelley's house to visit with my Nan and Pop who were in town. It was great being able to see my grandparents and for them to meet Jude. He is thier 16th great-grandchild!!!
While we were at Corey's place, Shelley cooked a wonderful turkey dinner for the whole Family to help celebrate Nan & Pop's 62nd Anniversary. So here's everyone who was there.....Corey, Shelley, Nan, Pop, Kendra, Mrs. Peckford (Corey's Nan on his dad's side), Dale, Me, Mom, and Jude. It was great to be able to have a dinner like I was used to from back home. This was sunday.
Monday, Me and Mom came into town and took Nan and Mrs. P shopping to Cosco and Sears in the NE. They had a great time ! And so did I, got a day shopping with my Nan, which I haven't been able to do in years. I know I miss being with my family, but I never realized how much, until I got to do normal things with them, like supper and shopping. And once again, Shelley made a wonderful supper for us all.
Tuesday, we stayed home and cleaned house. Mom did lots and I helped ;).
Wednesday we went into Calgary again to run some errands and to visit Amy and her clan!!! Mom finally got to meet the twins. And as Jude, Me and Mom know, they are great at sharing already!!!! We picked up some germs from them and got sore throats and runny noses. Their Mom is teaching them how to share already. Thanks Amy, Sara and Sophia!!!
Thursday we took Mom's truck in to get the muffler put back in place and friday, we stayed home. Mom was great and organized my clothes for me and helped me get most of Jude's room organized to. And then she left on Saturday. And of course, we were in Calgary on Sunday for church and then The Girls shower after the evening service. She was really blessed with all that she got. I took pics but will let her post them herself...when she gets them from me!!!
So now I have been home for 2 days. It's been nice staying home for a change. I have to say Jude and I are not used to being on the go all the time.
Jude gave me a real treat today. He slept really good and this morn he woke up @ 7:30 to eat then went back to sleep til 8ish, burped, ate some more and then back to sleep til after 9 !!! What a great sleep I had cuz he did so good !!! Thank God for small pleasures !
I've recently switched formulas to help with his spitting up. Since I have switched he is doing much better. I don't go thru 4 receiving blankets in 3 hours anymore!!! Whohoo, just a little less laundry now.
Jude is doing well. He is getting so big ! He is doing the cutest baby talk now and putting things in his mouth to chew and he has rolled over once so far. Guess he will do more once he gets more used to being on his belly. He is staying up lots during the day, with a couple power naps, and then he's sleeping really good at nite, with only one midnight feeding which is usually between 2-3 am. He is such a happy baby. God has really blessed me with Jude. Such a precious boy he is.
